Mortgage as a Service

OVERVIEW

Consumer brands have been building trust for decades. Mortgage as a Service allows them to leverage that trust and expand revenue at a massive scale. I designed the white-label product and B2B brand for this new opportunity.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The avg. homebuyer purchases a new home every seven years. This problem of scale and churn lead us to a billion dollar question. What if we could be the platform where any brand could offer mortgage? 🧐

Collaborating closely with strategist Emily Welch, we worked together to create a killer pitch that showcased the scale of the new business opportunity. This effort became the foundation for everyone in our company and our VC partner, Accel, to rally around.

TO THE MOON

Attracting companies with their own world-class experiences and brands, we knew the MaaS brand had to strike a very specific chord. Simple. Inspiring. We adopted the phrase “1:1000” as our vision for this new channel of business.

I got to work conceptualizing a high-end mortgage experience that aligned perfectly with the consumer-centric mortgage platform I crafted. The platform I designed is not only scalable, but it also has the potential to elevate any brand to new heights.

TECH ORiENTED, BRAND LOVED.

The final MaaS logo and visual library carry the essence of the product’s API-driven nature, as well as the elegant simplicity that major brands are wanting to see.

BIG BRANDS ARE TAKING NOTICE 👀

Mid-2022, we gained a small piece of business from industry titan Opendoor. And by 2023, we had won their entire scope of mortgage business. I designed the  pitch deck, white-label design system, and led our new partner's design team on best practices to share their offering.
